First Slave Market Site (Shangani Street)
Discover the site of Zanzibar’s first slave market, originally located on Suicide Street (now Shangani Street). Learn how it later shifted to Mkunazini, the site of today’s Anglican Cathedral.
Anglican Cathedral & Last Slave Market (Mkunazini)

Sailing Dhow Experience
From Forodhani Gardens (Makachu – Jumping Boys Centre), board a traditional dhow to experience how slaves were transported from the mainland. Mangapwani Slave Chambers
